I have volunteered for Leave the FOB for over a year now. I wanted to help those who have lost everything including their hope in Jesus. When I first started, I could literally feel the sadness and hopelessness of people that we served. The constant prayers and positive interactions from the volunteers, led by the Holy Spirit, has changed this in a huge way. I now see smiles and laughter. People who come in to get a hot meal are asking God to bless me! The Glory of the Lord shines brightly every Saturday. I am grateful the Holy Spirit led me to the FOB and even more grateful for the love that has replaced the sadness and hopelessness.
